Instructors Note:

This class is not about managing the day-to-day operations in a specialty unit.  It is about managing the people in them to maximize the efforts of your officers to accomplish your vision and goals.  Each objective brings a layer of knowledge that will help you avoid early mistakes and delay success.  First time supervisors running their own unit experience a steep learning curve.  Getting a foundation to work off of will get you off and running towards the leader your unit needs and wants.
